Just to say thank you to Laura Clapham for sharing with us her experience in Katete, Zambia and the work she is heading off to do for Mercy Ships at last Sunday’s services.
Next year, Laura will be spending three months volunteering on a hospital ship in Guinea in West Africa. She needs to raise £2,750, which will cover the cost of her crew fees (£650/month), flights and travel insurance. Anything raised over that will go towards Mercy Ships. In order to raise this she is swimming 320km - the equivalent of the coastline of Guinea.
If you would like to support Laura, please visit her Just Giving page www.justgiving.com/fundraising/swimalongguineathon - it tells about the work she will be doing and the great work that Mercy Ships do. Thank you very much!
