Contending For The Faith

a series of six weekly bible studies based on the Book of Jude.

Commencing via email attachments, first episode 15th April.

1Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James, To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: 2 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. 3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

Here is a post-Easter opportunity to engage with the often-overlooked small Book of Jude, and to discover the big message crammed into just 25 verses.

The study content is written by me. It is quite rigorous in exploring the culture, context and contemporary application on a verse by verse basis. Whilst my aim is to be detailed and ‘dig deep’ it is also my aim that it be inspiring and accessible at all levels

The plan is to have an open email group so that participants who wish to can interactively respond by emailing their own comments, questions and encouragements, to an open forum.

In the subject line please simply put, ‘Receive weekly Bible Study’

Then in the message please state, ‘I do/don’t consent to my email address being visible on the Bible study open forum*.

In allowing your email address to be shown across the group please be assured it will not be made available/visible to anyone outside the group.

You can do the study without your email address being shown in the open discussion forum- but this would mean you would not have full access to the input of other participants.
