An Extra Slice of Philippians 2:1-11

Here's our Extra Slice following on from Nick's Sunday's sermon from 18th May where Nicks talk to us more in depth on our sermon Series on Philippians #stgeorgeswilton  #extraslice  #growinspirit #growinnumber #bathandwells 

Questions are:

1) St Paul calls for us to be unified - how do we keep unity in a church at the same time as allowing there to be differences of opinion and practice?

2) Ambition and humility. Ambition has always been a bit toxic for the church - how have you seen this and what are the dangers? But what are the reverse dangers of not doing things because we don't want to 'seem ambitious?'

3) Christians are called to 'consider others more highly than ourselves'. What are the positives and the dangers of this calling? How have you seen them? 4) The creed phrases that Jesus is God from God - light from light. What difference does it make to have Jesus as 100%man and 100% God? What difference would it make if that was switched a bit?
